Frequently Asked Questions

How is my projected retirement corpus calculated?

Using the same future-value-of-annuity formula as a SIP or recurring investment calculator — your monthly contribution compounds at the expected annual return over the number of years until retirement.

What return rate should I use for retirement planning?

There's no universal answer — it depends on your investment mix (equity vs debt vs fixed income) and risk tolerance. Many long-term planners use a conservative real (inflation-adjusted) return rather than an optimistic nominal one.

Does this account for inflation?

Not directly — the corpus shown is in today's contribution terms. If you want a real (inflation-adjusted) result, use an expected return that's already net of your assumed inflation rate.

Can I use this alongside my country's specific retirement accounts (401k, NPS, pension)?

Yes — this is a generic projection tool. For India-specific tax-efficient retirement planning (NPS, PPF, Section 80C), talk to us directly.

Is this calculator free to use?

Yes, completely free with no sign-up or limits, and it works in any currency.
